The Fiscal Year 2021/2022 Budget was adopted by the Board of Education on June 22, 2021. The Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Estimated Actuals included in the adopted budget document reflected the projected ending fund balances for all the district operating funds. These projections were based on the latest available information from the federal, state, and local agencies. During the year-end closing process, these projections were refined and adjusted to determine the Unaudited Actuals as of June 30, 2021. The Unaudited Actuals for the Fiscal Year 2020/2021 have been submitted for board review and approval under a separate item for this board meeting. The June 30, 2021, ending fund balances for all the district funds reflect a variance increase from the Estimated Actuals amounts. This resolution is necessary to amend the Fiscal Year 2021/2022 Budget to include these changes in fund balances to the beginning fund balances for the affected funds. A Reconciliation of Ending Balances Schedule is included with this board item for review. |
|
Net increase of $29,493,054 to the Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Unaudited Actuals ending fund balances for all funds as identified by the reconciliation schedule. |
